 Read Labels-

With all of the marketing out there today it is easy to be deceived.

If you are watching your sugar intake realize it comes in many shapes and sizes. Names to be aware of when reading a label include: corn syrup, crystal dextrose, evaporated cane juice, fructose sweetener, fruit juice concentrates, malt syrup, maple syrup, molasses, concentrated fruit juice, hexitol, inversol, isomalt, maltodextrin, malted barley, nectars, pentose, rain syrup etc. Even the lowest amounts can make your numbers skyrocket!
Focus on Whole Fruits and Vegetables-

Focus on Whole Fruits and Vegetables- Food should be your first source of medication!

Not everyone is on board with this concept but it is true. Food will either sabotage your efforts or support your efforts. My favorite things to incorporate daily are antioxidant drinks and whole foods. I feel 10 years younger and have more energy than ever. There is no MAGICAL pill to fix all the damage you have done to your body over the years! Allow the nutrients from NATURAL food to do their thing!

That one bag of chips or that one piece of cake is NOT your issue….It's the LACK of nutrients!

Get up and MOVE-

Physical activity is huge regardless if you have blood sugar issues or not!

Your body releases a “feel good” hormone when your body is moving! When your heart pumps blood it’s delivering all those needed nutrients to the cells and tissues throughout your body! It also increases the oxygen levels in your body. Not only do you feel better but your body will begin to shed unnecessary weight that you have placed on your body over the years.

Remember, you didn’t get in this shape overnight and it may take some time to see the results. In the meantime you will feel so much better!
